You're an idiot if...

You're an idiot if you're a law enforcement officer who takes the necessary steps to delete sensitive private information from the public records, ie the property appraisers records, in order to protect the whereabouts of your home while simultaneously publishing your home address all over other public records that anyone with a computer and 30 seconds to spare can find.

To ad insult to injury, you're an even bigger idiot when you have a dimwit attorney write someone like me a threatening letter for allegedly exposing how stupid you actually are!

I'm obviously in a bit of a rush today, tomorrow we'll take a look at the letter embatteled City of South Miami police chief, Orlando Martinez de Castro's attorney sent me regarding my alleged publishing of his home address.

  2. You're also an idiot to bring home City cars ALL the time to your home. When I lived in Kendall the city cars immediately caught my attention as it was obviously some higher ranking official lived there. Goggled the address which brought up the FL Biz site. I guess the Chief failed the detective course.

  4. Here's how the democracy usually works for us: In most cities it's the city manager who appoints the police chief. If the chief goes bad and the manager refuses to deal with it, the elected officials cannot fire the chief, they can only fire the manager, so that's what they do. Look around the County - lots of examples lately: Doral, South Miami, Bal Harbor. City managers take notice!
