Aransas County Court-At-Law Judge William Adams took a belt to his own teenage daughter as punishment for using the internet to acquire music and games that were unavailable for legal purchase at the time. She has had ataxic cerebral palsy from birth that led her to a passion for technology, which was strictly forbidden by her father's backwards views. The judge's wife was emotionally abused herself and was severely manipulated into assisting the beating and should not be blamed for any content in this video. The judge's wife has since left the marriage due to the abuse, which continues to this day, and has sincerely apologized and repented for her part and for allowing such a thing, long before this video was even revealed to exist. Judge William Adams is not fit to be anywhere near the law system if he can't even exercise fit judgement as a parent himself. Do not allow this man to ever be re-elected again. His "judgement" is a giant farce. Signed, Hillary Adams, his daughter.It's worth noting that Judge Adams has handled at least 350 family law cases this past year alone with "nearly 50 of which involved state caseworkers seeking to determine whether parents were fit to raise their children"! According to Judge Adams, he's done nothing wrong. That's strange though, it seems to me that the video in question shows a brutal assault on a 16 year old girl whose alleged misdeed was "illegally" downloading music and games on her computer.
Think about this judge's behavior next time you hear "all arise" or the next time a judge makes a ruling that makes no damn sense to you!
I don’t disagree with smacking your kids but he went overboard. There was no reason to go back a 2nd time. seemed like he enjoyed it too much or has no control over his on temper.
ReplyDeleteYes I agree he went overboard, but let me tell you "who hasn't" when their kids are disrespectful, lying and cheating their way. But I do take issue on one point. I have seen this video multiple times, but take a look at the young ladies reaction and the immediate stop crying after the belt was raised. She "STOPS CRYING" and even goes about doing other things in her room.
ReplyDeleteNow again I do not condone beating anyones kid, but as a father of now 35 and 36 year old daughters, believe me when I tell you that corporal punishment for kids "IS NOT BAD", and we in this country have gotten off track on being able to discipline our children the way we see fit. No not to beat them senslessly, but I do relate to this father's and mothers plight on trying to get their daughter back on the track they "THOUGHT" she was doing, only to find out and being once again disappointed in their daughter because of the lying and cheating she apparently keeps doing. I do take issue to the judge indicating that his daughter "MUST" be submissive, which is pure bull. No women should "EVER" be submissive to any man, period! But in the case of discipline for your child, then sorry gang, but corporal punishment (with restraint)is most definately a good thing, and what is missing with today's youth! Just take a look around. So, for you who made this blog to judge this judge as "IF" you know better on how to raise a child, is also just pure bull. Also a point needs to be made besides that this child actually stops crying after being caught and the belt, which tells me that this judge didn't hurt this child in the least. Again look at the video and see how fast this child stops crying after being scolded by both parents. She is more upset about this than the actual beating, even though it appears she is being tortured. Again look at the video as to how fast she stops crying. So I know she is not hurt, except having her parents mad at her and getting caught. In addition, and to further support my claim that this is just a spoiled child. Take a look at two other points on this. First, and besides how fast she stops crying after the so called severe beating, is that she video taped it at all. This is total disrespect to her parents. Then to openly use it against her parents years later now that she is apparently now 23 is just pure ccrap. Third, what the heck is a 23 year old doing with a Mercedez anyway. She most certainly is not old enough to have earned it as yet, so obviously the most you can say about this judge and his wife is that they spoiled their kid way too much and didn't give her the values to earn things herself. Then besides using this video from the age of 15 and now 23 when she releases it, she is apparently pissed off because as her Dad says has been cut off of both the Mercedez and further allowances. Spoiled, you bet! Mothers and Fathers fault for handing out money and things without hard work first, you bet! Mother and Father now divorced, probably didn't spend enough time with this young lady as a young adult, you bet! But for this young woman to now after 8 years of the making of this video to "NOW" release it - is to me worse than this judge and his leather strap belt! Does the judge need to be repremanded in some manner, probably as I am not the one to judge him on this, nor is this bloger!
