Prosecutor in Michelle Spence-Jones case is a WANTED MAN!

According to our friends at Investigation Miami, assistant state attorney Richard Scruggs has a warrant for his arrest!

Read about it here...

UPDATE!!!

From the Justice Building blog regarding the Spence-Jones trial...

"Rump, you are missing the big story of the week. ASA Richard Scruggs is being humiliated in courtroom 4-1. Armando Codina repeatedly accused him of lying. This trial is about a lot more than Michelle Spence Jones. The real story is Scruggs. I doubt he survives this debacle if she is acquitted. I see a JOA on the horizon followed by demands for an investigation, etc"

  1. Scruggs needs to be suspended immediately. He's more of a criminal than the people he's prosecuting.

  2. Scruggs needs to be immediately investigated by the Justice Department. He has put Michelle and others through hell for his own personal vendettas. She is innocent and he is guilty.

  3. Scruggs has abused his power and put people like Michelle through hell for his own personal vendettas. He is the antithesis of everything our democracy stands for. He isn't about justice, he is about power and squashing people. Rundlel should resign for hiring him and allowing him to do this thing.

  4. Scruggs has nothing on assistant state attorney Bill Kostrzewski. Use our blogs search function and learn about what this guy is about.

  5. Here is part of the article written in the Pittsburgh Gazette about Scruggs,
"The Justice Department sent Deputy Attorney General Richard Scruggs, a former Miami federal prosecutor, to Costa Rica. Costa Rican police then arrested Abel and turned him over to U.S. agents on an American jetliner. He was brought home, tried and sentenced to four life sentences in prison.

Scruggs said everything went off without a hitch. Abel said Costa Rican and American agents kidnapped him, hid him for two days then shipped him back to the United States without benefit of the due process that laws in Costa Rica and the United States guarantee.

In summer 1993, Costa Rican officials, after scouring the documentation provided when Scruggs requested extradition, filed the first of three protests with the American government related to Abel’s case. They charged that Scruggs collaborated with over-zealous members of the Costa Rican National Migration board to "circumvent the country’s extradition procedures."

Within months, Costa Rica filed criminal charges against Scruggs and Donna Hamilton, a U.S. Consular officer in San Jose. Hamilton was transferred out of the country before she could be tried. Neither she nor Scruggs will face those charges, as long as they don’t return to Costa Rica."

  6. The simplest thing would be to stop admitting boys named "Richard Scruggs" to law school.

  7. 10:18, I'm not here to judge Spence-Jones. Regardless, of her guilt or innocence, the way the state has conducted itself is reprehensible. If indeed she is guilty of the alleged crimes, how is it going to feel for her to walk because of the prosecutors misconduct? If she really is guilty of all the allegations, why did the state have to resort to tricking witnesses into making false statements against her?

  8. Not liking someone or one's perceived view of how someone behaves does not warrant a criminal trial. There is not one ounce of proof that supports Scruggs indictment of her. People throwing around, "she definitely is not innocent", is BS. Where's the proof? If you have it you should get it to Scruggs, because he certainly doesn"t.

  9. RICHARD SCRUGGS SHOULD BE FIRED AND EXTRADITED TO COSTA RICA. HE IS A WANTED MAN. HOW CAN HE BE A LAW ENFORCER BY USING ILLEGAL METHODS. SHAME!!!

  10. Miserable liar! Richard Scruggs should be in jail and Rundle fired.

They do not seek justice. They just seek publicity with false indictments. They want to keep their jobs regardless of how much they have to lie and cheat.

What a disgrace to have this low life in law enforcement.

Poor Michelle...I wish her the best...I will vote for her again.

RICHARD SCRUGGS COMMITED ILLEGAL ACTS IN COSTA RICA AND IS A WANTED MAN THERE!!!!

I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW HE CAN BE IN CHARGE OF ANYTHING!!!
