Update on Michelle Spence-Jones case...

The word on the street was that the state was going to drop the charges against former City of Miami commissioner Michelle Spence-Jones today. This morning her attorney Peter Raben and prosecutor Richard Scruggs appeared in court and asked for the case to be reset till June 28. We'll have to wait a few more weeks to see what the state does...

  1. Michelle Spence-Jones was scheming and scamming from her days as Manny Diaz's Affirmative Action hire. She was constantly shaking down black charities, black busineses, really anyone who had the misfortune to cross her path.

  2. It would be a terrible shame if the State's Attorney's Office let's Spence loose to inflict more damage on the community.

Every step of the way she takes advantage of innocent hard working taxpayers.

  3. Agreed. The state rushed to put together a case and fucked up a sure thing. The states ineptitude and the handy work of that washed drunk of a prosecutor Richard Scruggs have now made it impossible to bring Spence-Jones to justice.

  4. Unfortunately, for you all and fortunately for Michelle our justice system is founded on innocent until proven guilty. There is not ONE OUNCE OF PROOF that Michelle has done anything wrong. Not a single shred of evidence. Nasty rumors are just that, spread by those jealous of her and those that just want to take down an black politician.
