City of South Miami commission decides that they have "no confidence" in their embattled police chief Orlando Martinez de Castro!

Just like that at Tuesdays city commission meeting, the commission voted, 3/2, that they do not have confidence in the city's embattled police chief, Orlando Martinez de Castro.  In my opinion that moves the chief one step closer to the door.  I guess you guys know how we feel about the subject...

After the "no confidence" vote, the commission went on to discuss taking away the control of the parking department from the chief.  What leaves me baffled is the assertions from Commissioner Newman and some of her cohorts that somehow the chief was responsible for boosting parking revenues and that the chief is on call 24/7 in case there's anything awry with the parking in the City of South Miami.  WTF?  Honestly, it's one thing to have us believe that the chief single handedly stopped all the crime in the city, but how the hell do you expect us to believe that parking revenues are up because of the chief's running of the parking department?  And once again, just like that, poof!  The commission went on to take away control of the parking department from the chief!

So what do you think chief?  Did you ever think a little over a year ago when we started writing about your wife's tag agency and the railroading of the poor tellers that you blamed for stealing tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars from her rinky dink three window tag agency that we'd end up here?

Karma's a bitch, isn't it Chief?

  1. Yes, Karma is a B****!

We who pays the bills in the City of South Miami will not take this crap from you, your do-boys nor do-girls, Mr. Chief.

You of all people, and those who you brought in with you, are held at the HIGHEST of accountability - LAW ENFORCEMENT, sworn to duty to PROTECT, and YOU have violated the citizens of the City of South Miami. You have exploited your position and power, and you must find somewhere else to go. As a very wise person once told me, you don’t have to stop what you are doing, but you can't do your mess HERE in OUR CITY, and to the residence of South Miami.

When will the Ethics Hearing be held?

  2. How about the two so called commissioners who actually allow themselves to SPEW support for the chief with all the evidence that they have access to. W.T.Hell.

Liebman: you are a wanta-be! You behave on the dais as if you need a session or two. Yes, we know of the alleged DUI and Domestic Violence violations. Yes, Liebman, we know all about your chief pulling the records from Sweetwater. If you don't know what your talking about keep the mouth closed is a great idea, before you get your baby-whip, pull-up wearing ass in trouble. Are you so blind that you can not tell the truth from a lie, 4 Ethics violation and countless other crap and still you support the man? WTF is up with that!

    Newman, the Gut-Bucket from Transylvania!
You are expected to do just as you do!
Your hold card is played and soon you will be RECALLED. Your clan talk about recall, we will show you what the experience is all about. Count the days we promise.

  3. Newman kills me with the Chief BS. She is one of few that think this man is good. Gut bucket is an understatement. She needs to go to. She is full of herself. We know about the feather that you keep in your head, and about the pot

  5. Liebman has hitched his wagon to the losers that are Newman, OMDC & Miller. Typical for a guy who was never interested in politics enough to even vote. He will come crawling to the other side soon enough. He's weak.

Reminds me of a shorter Randy Wiscomb.

  6. What about ex-con, convicted drug-money launderer Armando Oliveros, speaking on behalf of the Police Chief, and lecturing the commission about ethics and honor? Great to bring in Armando as a character witness! Only in South Florida could such a slimy scumbag like Oliveros exist. He is a professional liar/sociopath who is completely without shame.

As for Liebman and blowhard Newman defending the chief - explain why the city did business with an Auto Tag Agency owned by the Martinez de Castro's wife, when so many closer options were available?

Time to kick the remaining rat off the ship, Martinez de Castro needs to go.

    1. That's all well and good but it looks like Liebman was the victim here. Ironic how there was a stay away order specifying "no contact allowed with Josh Liebman" yet the defendant, Jennifer Oneil, was then released into Liebman's custody?

  9. Armando Oliveros what a rat he is .So proud that he did his time and about not being a rat? Well we all know he went to trial and lost so thats why the feds would not give him a deal Only in South Miami's ship can that rat still float.
